Whats a good online stock broker?

I only have about $500 to invest, and my strategy calls for frequent trades. I don’t need help looking for stocks or doing much research. Also, this will be the first time that I’ve ever traded online. Thanks for your help guys!

Sory, new to this. What I wanted to add on there was that I generally do frequent, high volume, penny stock trades.

I need a profitable, easy-to-follow Forex strategy. I’m a daytrader, so I need a good swing strategy. About 20 pips per trade will be good. Also, I have Meta Trader, so I’d appreciate good, custom indicators. Don’t give me MACD, RSI, Stoc, Moving Averages etc…
Thanks!

Short term stocks trade advice needed?
Filed Under Investing | 6 Comments
I am thinking to go into the stock market. My idea is to trade stocks of well established companies. Looking to make a small profit. I would appreciate it if any one who has experience with day trading can give me some advice. Which sector to pick?. What stratgey to use?.
The strategy that I am working on is to pick companies with good fundementals, but then use technical analysis to do the short term trading. I don’t want to go for the long term investment becuase I don’t like how the stock market has been behaving lately (mostly a down trend).
Yes you are right, I meant swing trading and not day trading. I intend to invest in companies with good fundementals, becuase I don’t want to take the risk of seeing my money wiped out!.

ETF daytrading?
Filed Under Investing | 2 Comments
Lets assume $50,000 in scottrade. I want to trade ETF stocks called SPY all day long. I buy low and sell high with $50,000 until the market close. Lets say the EFT goes up and down +/- .10 the whole day. If i just buy low, sell high all day long. Will I make a profit like this strategy ? Or do i need $100,000? Is this a posible strategy ?

Hi all. I’m looking into backtesting trading strategies for commodities. My problem is, that I can only test the currently available futures, but I want to test a specific commodity (eg- crude) and have the testing go back 5 years and switch to the next month’s contracts when the current one expires in the testing, and so on. So I need some backtesting that works like I was testing a stock, but for a commodity.
Do you know a way I can do this, or software to help.
(I hope this explaination makes sense!).

Phil asked:
I know I have mediocre closers. I had drafted Corpas, who blew up and lost the closing job. Also, going into the year, I thought that Marmol would turn out to be closer and he did not. Holds do count in the league that I am in though, so having Marmol in his current set-up role along with Broxton help me out there. My strategy is that even though I have two average closers, I’ll trade winning saves in order to win both holds and hopefully blown saves too.
